Child Dedication

CHILD DEDICATION

Child Dedication is a biblical practice (1 Samuel 1:21-28) where parents present their child in dedication to God and commit to raise him or her in a godly way. We offer this to members of Allison Park Church, and it is a special moment provided for only one family at a time.

WHAT TO EXPECT: The dedication takes place during our weekend services. The parents and child are invited on stage. A pastor asks the parents to confirm their commitment to raise their child in a godly way. The pastor then prays a specific prayer of dedication over the child, using a special verse selected by the parents.
