Recovery is a biblical and balanced program to help people overcome the
ir hurts\, habits and hang-ups. Based on the actual words of Jesus rath

effective in helping people change than anything else out there. Over

not God\; I admit that I'm powerless to control my tendency to do the wr

o Recovery Based on the Beatitudes (R-E-C-O-V-E-R-Y)\n\nR - Realize I’m
not God\; I admit that I'm powerless to control my tendency to do the wr
ong thing & that my life is unmanageable. (Step 1) “Happy are those who
know that they are spiritually poor.”\nE - Earnestly believe that God ex

. (Step 2) “Happy are those how mourn\, for they shall be comforted.”\nC
  - Consciously choose to commit all my life and will to Christ’s care an

 5) “Happy are the pure in heart.”\nV - Voluntarily submit to any and all
changes God wants to make in my life and humbly ask Him to remove my ch
